- November 13, 2011 – The Chronicles of Harris Burdick Celebration – Sunday, November 13, 2011 – 1:oo pm – 3:00 pm – Avid Bookshop, 493 Prince Avenue, Athens, GA – I recently particpated as one of the judges and will be attending this event. Come by this new independent bookstore and hear young writers read their entries and meet some of the judges.

- August 14, 2011, 1:30 PM, Peachtree City Library – I’ll talk about GONE FROM THESE WOODS and answer questions. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Go to the library’s website for more information.
- July 22 – 23, 2011 – Harriette Austin Writers Conference – Georgia Center for Continuing Education, Athens, GA. I’ll be presenting a writing workshop, “Finding Fiction in Your Own Backyard.” Visit the conference website for more information.
