Donny loves to speak to children and adults about her books, the stories behind the books, the process of writing, and her own journey to publication. She will be glad to visit your school or library and speak to children grades 3 and up or adults.
In 2009/2010, she is offering special introductory rates of $550 per day, plus food, lodging and travel expenses, if the visit site is at least 30 miles from the Athens/Winterville area, for up to four sessions a day. For schools within 30 miles of the Athens, Georgia area, or the Cleveland, Tennessee area, Donny is offering a special introductory rate of $350 per day for 2 - 4 sessions per day.
Donny also offers one-time assemblies or library or conference talks for grades 3 and up or adults for $350 plus expenses if more than 30 miles from the Athens/Winterville area. These appearances usually run 30 - 45 minutes with a question and answer session and book signing afterwards.
Books may be provided by a local bookstore or by the author upon request. All programs may be customized to suit the school or other organization.
