West Jackson Middle School Students Writing

West Jackson Middle School Students Writing During a School Visit by Donny Bailey Seagraves.

One of my favorite parts of being an author is meeting young readers when I visit their schools and speak at other events where students are present.
I am currently booking schools visits, both in person and Skype virtual visits for the coming school year and beyond. If you’re interested in having me visit your school, please email me at donnyseagraves@gmail.com.

More Information

  • I usually speak to no more than 60 students per session, no more than three-four sessions per day, at negotiable rate, plus travel, lodging and related expenses, if more than 50 miles from Winterville, Georgia. Schools may want to sell copies of Gone From These Woods to help offset the cost of the author’s visit. To discuss a school visit please send me an email: donnyseagraves@gmail.com.

What Media Specialists Say About School Visits by Donny Bailey Seagraves

“Thank you so much for visiting our school. The students who particpated in the writing workshop went back to their classes excited and telling everyone they could about their experience. Your book became the number one book for holds the months of January and February!”Laura Miller, Media Specialist, West Jackson Middle School

We truly enjoyed having Donny Bailey Seagraves as a visiting author today. At PTA tonight, several parents told me their child came home very excited and talking about her visit. One girl went straight home and got on the couch to start reading her copy of the book! Mrs. Slongo’s class was all abuzz during the day because of your visit. Their wheels are turning from the discussion they had with you. Thanks for all you do to support the lives of these young readers.“–Andy Plemmons, Media Specialist, Barrow Elementary School
